Claims Consultant

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Claims Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will handle end-to-end claims processing, ensuring efficient and accurate claim resolutions while providing exceptional support to clients and third parties.

Responsibilities

  • Claims registration
  • Claims processing A-Z
  • Appointing assessors
  • Organising break down services
  • Following up on claims documents
  • Providing feedback to 3rd parties and clients
  • Answering calls from claimants and 3rd parties
  • Drafting AOLs
  • Claims reporting
  • Closing claims files
  • Amending claims statuses
  • Engaging 3rd parties
  • Processing claims in a call centre environment
  • Rotational standby

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Matric certificate (essential).
  • Post-matric qualification in Insurance (preferred).
  • Regulatory 5 Exam (recommended).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in claims processing.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Proficiency in claims processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
